Kittys and rainbows

I finished up this card yesterday and was going to post it but it was so dark by the time I came upstairs to take the photo.I know the orange color looks real bright, but it really isn't. I tried to make the colors as close to what the card looks like but sometimes it doesn't come out that way when you're fixing the photo. I'm not sure if you can see it but the word "hello" has a blue hello under the orange hello.

Here's a closer look at Hello Kitty and the rainbow. This butterfly die is so cute that I used it again for this card.

Cricut Create

Hi everyone! We finally got our shipment in of the Cricut Create machine. This is the same machine as the Expression except it is the same size as the original machine. And you get a special cartridge that comes with the machine called Don Juan. The Hello Kitty cartridges are also in so if you've been waiting for one, please call the store.

Hello Kity butterfly

Another quick project that I made today. This would make cute favors for birthday parties. It's real easy and fast to put together. I think it's because the die is much smaller and makes the piecing quicker. I used some older dies to make this. *Edit* This is not a card, it is a Sizzix envelope die - Kit #4 using the movers & shapers window pane die. Sorry for not being clear on this.The wings are actually popped up from the base. Here's a closer picture of the wings so you can see it.

Supplies:

Sizzix Hello Kitty butterfly die, Kit #4 die, Movers & Shapers window pane die, Frills deco strip die, acetate for the window, and M&M's candies. You can use other candies to fill the packet.

Hello Kitty sizzlits

Hi everyone! Just popping in to show you a couple of the new Hello Kitty sizzlit dies that arrived at the store on Monday.

These dies are a good size for cardmakers. And it's real easy to piece together. I made this card in half an hour or maybe it was less since I was rushing.

Supplies: Hello Kitty sitting die, mushrooms die, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Hero Arts gemstone, ribbon and cardstock.

Sizzix shipment

Hi everyone! We just received a shipment of the new Hello Kitty dies from Sizzix. These are Sizzlits and Deco Strip dies. So many creative ways to use these dies. There are a few styles on backorder and those should be arriving soon too.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Valentine's Day!!! Well, yesterday we received a shipment from Tsukineko. We now have the full line of Memento markers in the store. Also in, Memento black ink pads for you Copic lovers. This ink works very well with Copics.

This is a card that I made using one of the new 3-D pop-up dies from Sizzix. The dies should be shipping sometime in April. This one is using 3 hearts. The Hello Kitty die is also a new Sizzlit die and should be arriving in the store Monday or Tuesday along with that Hello Kitty phrase die. I left this sample at the store so don't forget to check it out while you're there. Sorry the image of the card is kind of small but I couldn't figure out how to make it bigger.

Back to creating

Hi everyone! First off, we received a shipment of Just Rite Stampers yesterday. And more Sizzix dies have also landed. We should be receiving the new Hello Kitty dies next week Monday. I'll keep you posted. Here is a sample I made from the Twitterpatted line from Imaginisce. This stamp is called Foxy. I colored him in with a line of markers from Tsukineko called Memento markers which should be arriving at the store sometime soon. These work with any kind of ink and also very affordable. We also received markers from American Crafts and we have a bunch of stuff coming in soon.
Supplies: Imaginisce foxy stamp, Hero Arts circle woodgrain stamp, Spellbinders circle nesties, Hello Kitty frame die, Cuttlebug houndstooth folder, Hero Arts word stamp, Hero Arts flowers and gemstones, and Lasting Impressions buttons.

Make & Take

Hi everyone! Guess I took a little blog break there. And yes, we are back! Just wanted to remind everyone that Jean from Dandelion Designs will be at the store this Saturday, February 7th from 10-12 pm doing a make & take. We have a big shipment of all her new releases and this is what we'll be using for the make & take. Hope you can make it because she always comes up with some really cute, great ideas!!! Besides, you don't want to miss eating those sweet cupcakes.
Also, Cliff got in the new Cricut Create machine and he's been doing demos with it.
