Chinese doll card

Hi everyone! Today the store will open at 2 pm. All the new Hello Kitty dies are back in stock especially the Aloha kitty die. Please call the store if you were waiting for this die to come in.

Here's a card that I made yesterday using the new Hero Arts chinese dolls set.I took the colors to make this card from this pitcher that I found at Salvation Army last year. It caught my eye and I had to have it for my kitchen.

Supplies:

Sizzix XL die flower card-flourish, Spellbinders label 3 nesties, Hero Arts Chinese dolls stamp set, little note stamp set, dots & flowers background stamp, Hero Arts gemstones, swiss dots embossing folder, Tsukineko Versafine black ink, Memento markers in rosebud and dandelion.

Today and tomorrow

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I posted anything and we were gone for a bit. Today, we are getting another Sizzix shipment of the Hello Kitty summer releases. Call the store if you have been waiting for one of the dies.

Also, tomorrow Friday, the store will open at 2 pm. It may be earlier but call the store before you head down there if it is before 2 pm.

He's getting creative

Something sparked the other day and it got him creating.

Look at what he ended up creating! He cut the pig out of chipboard with the Sizzix pig die, even colored in the nose and eyes. Too cute huh? The paper is textured with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and I can't remember the name of it. I don't think you can really see the texture in this photo but he poured blue glitter over the paper. The sample will be at the store so you can take a closer look at his creation.

Sun tanned Hello Kitty

Hi everyone! I almost forgot to post this card that I made yesterday in between cleaning my craft room.

It's one of the new Hello Kitty dies from Sizzix. This one took a little longer because I decided to color the towel and make stripes since I couldn't find striped paper in the tons of paper that I have. LOL!

Sizzix Hello Kitty with beach towel die, Sizzix birthday #2 embossing folder, Sizzix flower dies, Spellbinders label one nesties, Hero Arts card, DCWV paper, Bazzill cs, acetate and ribbon.

Mother's day box and a pop-up tree

Hi everyone! I made this box yesterday from the Sizzix french fry box. I stuck 2 boxes together like I did with the Easter box back in March. And punched a hole out for the handle using a Spellbinders nestabilitites petite oval die.Here's the side view of the 2 boxes stuck together.All stamps are Dandelion Designs. I cut off the balloons that the bear was holding. It sort of didn't match the look that I wanted.Here's the top view of the 2 boxes stuck together and filled with stamp goodies. Here is a pop-up card that one of our customers, Renee made using the Sizzix pop-up tree die. She also used the cat sizzlit die set that she won at our make & take when Cheri was here.
She did a great job making this card. Next time you're in the store, check this card out.

Hello Kitty spring set embossing folders

Hi everyone! I took a little break last week since I was a little pooped out from all the make & takes we were doing around town and the outer islands. It's so much fun to have Cheri come out to visit us in Hawaii but it really is a lot of work. Anyways, I made this card using the Hello Kitty spring set embossing folders that just arrived in the store.I cut out all the pieces so I could layer it to give her a little dimension. This set is so cute! I used stickles glitter glue on her dress and flowers and also put pearl stones in the center of the flowers.The ribbon is Offray and I went to the store to get more of it but it was all sold out. We should be getting more in soon. The new Hello Kitty summer dies should be arriving in the store later this week.

Sizzix 3-D cake pop-up

Hi everyone! Here is another sample that Sarah made using the Sizzix 3-D pop-up cake die.Look at all the embellishments she put on the wedding cake.There's even a spray of pearls on the bottom of the cake. This would make a great centerpiece for a wedding shower or a wedding. You really need to see this IRL. So many little pieces were used to decorate this wedding cake. Thanks so much Sarah for these beautiful samples that you made for the store!

Sizzix 3-D pop-ups

Hi everyone! Sarah, who is one of our customers made these samples for the store using the Sizzix pop-up dies. You have to see it IRL. She does amazing work with a lot of little punches.

See the address on the house, well that's the number of the Sizzix die. If you look inside the house, there is even a tv on the wall.

Here is one of the sides of the house. See all the little detail she added. All those little itty bitty things are made from punches.

I remember that Quickutz tree since I have the same die. This is the backside of the house.

Now check out the little bluebird. I think she must of made that from punches too. There is so much detail on this house. Next time you're in the store, check out this house. Stay tuned tomorrow, I will post another sample she made for the store.

Baby turtle favor bag

Hi everyone! I made this favor bag using the Sizzix daisy doily die and the new turtle from the baby line.

I also posted a tutorial on how to make this favor bag on my blog. Check it out here. I am trying to use up all the leftover scraps from the make & takes we did but the pile doesn't seem to be going down.
