Haunted house box

Hi everyone! Wow, the holidays are quickly approaching us and before you know it, it will be Christmas. I have been wanting to make something with the MS haunted house punch and this is one of the boxes that I used it to decorate. I used Sizzix box #2 to hold my treats. It sure holds a lot of candies.

Here is a photo of what the box looks like without the candies. The green cs is actually a little brighter but I took these photos early in the morning and it was still quite dark.Supplies:

Buddy the clown and baby bird card

Hi everyone! Here is what we made for the make & take this past Saturday. We made a triangle favor box and used Dandelion Designs new halloween stamps for the outside of the box.Everyone had such a nice time! I bought a whole container of pretzels only to find that it was too big to fit in the favor box. So please help us out if you go to the store, and grab yourself a bag of pretzels to munch on.

I made this card right before I left for Saturday's make & take. I love this new texture impression embossing folder that just came in the store. It is called spring set and comes with 3 other folders in the set.The die is a Sizzix original called baby bird. It was released a couple months ago in the baby collection. Stamp is from Hero Arts Ink 'n Stamp set.

Another update

I forgot to let you know on the last post that we also received the window pane die from Sizzix in case you were waiting for that die.

Store hours for Thursday and Saturday

Hi everyone! Ok, I know I said in the previous post that the store would be closed all week. The store will be open on Thursday, Sept 17th from 11-3 pm. We had a Sizzix shipment yesterday and a few items that customers were waiting for have arrived. If you were waiting for the Sizzix flower tag die, it is here and also the scallop bag die and some Hello Kittys. There are also some new textured impression folders that were just released.
We are also having a make & take this Saturday, September 19th from 10-12 pm. Please bring a pair of scissors if you can. We will be making a really cute and easy treat holder for Halloween.

I vant some candy

Hi everyone! Another new Halloween stamp from Dandelion Designs. This is Baxter dressed up as Count Dracula. He vants some candy! I decided to play with a couple colors on this one since it's for Halloween.

Pirate Elliot and scallop bag #2 treat bag

Hi everyone! Here is a card that I made yesterday using one of the new halloween stamps from Dandelion Designs. This is Elliot dressed up as a pirate with his trick or treat bucket. Cardstock is Worldwin doublemates and MS spiderweb border and corner punch.

This next bag is one that I forgot to post over the weekend. This is another version of scallop bag #2. All stamps are from the Hero Arts Halloween Ink 'n Stamp set. They fit perfectly in the MS scallop circle punch.Here is a side view so you can see how wide the bag is. It holds quite a bit of candy. But I know when the sample is in the store, my husband eats all the candy. LOL!

Halloween treat bag

Hi everyone! I made this Halloween treat bag using Sizzix XL scallop bag #2 die the other day. I changed the die a little so you can hold more treats in it.This was also the very first time that I made a shaker. I used chunky glitter in place of the tiny beads that most shaker cards are made with.

Dandelion Designs new stamps

Hi everyone! We just received a shipment of Jean's new stamp releases for Halloween and Thanksgiving. What can I say... These are soooo cute!

Elliot flower bag

Hi everyone! Here is a bag/box that I made using the newer Sixxiz XL die called flower bag. I try to use the dies in different ways and so I turned this bag into a box to hold more goodies. The stamped image is Elliot from Dandelion Designs. The glittered flower on the top is actually supposed to flap over for the bag version. You can see in this photo how the original bag shape now looks like a box.

The dotted stamped background on the box is a Hero Arts stamp. I embossed it with clear embossing powder. Here's an aerial view of the top of the box. I don't know where that came from... LOL! As you can see in the picture, the flowers at the top of the box are held together with a brad. You can also tie it with a ribbon too.

Just me & Buddy stopping by to say hi

Hi everyone! I made another card to show you how you can add dimension to this shapeability diecut from Spellbinders by adding score lines and folding each score line. You can see how the pendant is raised after doing this. I also spritzed a new product called Ink Potion #9 from Tsukineko on top of the diecut to give it a glittery sheen. You have to see it IRL. The sample will be at the store.
