New cutting mat from ScorPal. You don't need shims if you use this. Also, a new craft mat to do all your crafts on. I like how thick this one is and it doesn't curl up.

New Sizzix Shipment and Sizzix retailer project #4

Hi everyone! We received a shipment of new stamp & dies today from Sizzix. This is from the Stephanie Barnard release.Here's project #4 from the Sizzix retailer class at CHA that Cliff attended. He made a box with a drawer using matboard. This is another new item from Eileen Hull using scoreboard dies.
They embossed the box and it was optional to rub black ink on the box. But he wanted to try it and it came out really nice.

Hi everyone! Here is card #3 that Cliff made in 12 minutes. I actually had to finish parts of it at home. Lol! Not quite sure what happened to the middle of the flower but he did another great job with this one!This is the new "flip-its" die which will be released soon.
It's a really cute card and if you go to the store, you will see it.

Sizzix retailer class at CHA #2

Hi everyone! Here is the 2nd card that Cliff made at the Sizzix retailer class. It looks like they stamped and embossed the background of this card and then ran it through a textured impression folder. This was another 12 minute project.He said he wasn't able to finish coloring the the flower. Another great job!

Hi everyone! For this week, I will post a project everyday (I hope) that Cliff made when he attended the Sizzix retailer class. These are new dies that are not out yet but will be later this year. Today's card uses a new die coming out late spring early summer called "pop 'n cuts" by Karen Burniston. The retailers had only 12 minutes to make each project. I think he did a great job cutting this out and putting it together.
The stamping part was a little messy.
When you open the card, "hello you" pops up.

Hi everyone! Here's a giftcard holder using the new scoreboard die called "house giftcard holder". There is really no assembly to it. It is really fast to put together. I applied the paper to the chipboard before cutting it out.I used Dandelion Designs panda bear cling stamp and put him over the door.
When you open the door, you will see the giftcard.

Hi everyone! One of our customers Renee, dropped off another card sample that she made for the store. It's so pretty! She used Sizzix die called "card ornate #3" to make the card base.Then she used the "holiday lamppost" die and "snowman & hat" sizzlit die for the front of the card.
When you open the card, she used "snowman #7" die and Martha Stewart alphabets punch.

And here's a Christmas card made from a new die that is not out yet but will be soon. I used Hero Arts clear set called "snowman Christmas". The background is stamped and embossed with tiny flakes background stamp.
When you open the card, the inside has a stamped message.

Sizzix new shipment and card samples

HI everyone! We received a shipment of new dies from Sizzix today.The next 3 photos are the Christmas tags that we made this past Saturday during the make & take. The tags are folded on the side and stamped on the inside with "happy holidays". We used 4 different Dandelion Designs cling sets and 2 Hero Arts background stamps.
This first tag uses the monkey from the "so sweet" set and "holiday background" from Hero Arts.
The 2nd tag uses the elephant from the "happy hello" set and "holiday background" from Hero Arts.
The last tag uses the dog from the "so glad we're friends" set and "tiny flakes" from Hero Arts.
One of our customers, Renee made us another sample card using all Sister Stamps images and the Sizzix gatefold card die. She put "kimono show" on the outside of the card and when you open it, there are 4 of the Sister Stamps. The kimono is a die from Cheery Lynn Designs.
See all the circles in the background of the card? That is also a Cheery Lynn die called lattice circles. The 4 stamps used are Ayako, Kiyomi, Yoko, and Miyono.

Don't forget that tomorrow, November 1st is the release of Sister Stamps #4.

Hi everyone! Here's a card that I made today using a new stamp called "big panda Marci" by Lala Land Crafts. I stamped the panda twice and put one behind the window. The card is cut using a Sizzix die called A-2 card and the window pane movers & shapers die for the window. We still have the A-2 card die in the store.The background stamp is made by Hero Arts for Studio Calico called "alphabet background". And the word stamp is by Hero Arts from the "things" set.

Hi everyone! I recently picked up a bunch of items from the store, and made a card the other day. I used Dandelion Designs Ping from the "friend to friend" cling set and colored him with several green copic markers. The purple background is cut out from white cardstock using Spellbinder's "wonky rectangles" nestabilities set that we just received this week. I inked it purple using Tim Holtz's distress ink called dusty concord.

I ran that piece through the big shot using Tim Holtz's texture fades set called Halloween & borders.
The pumpkins and trick or treat basket is from Dandelion Designs set called "Halloween set".

Pumpkin shaker matchbox card

Hi everyone! Here is one of the ways to use the new Martha Stewart punch around the page "pumpkin" punch. I made mine into a shaker using this punch and the Big Shot Pro matchbox die for the box. It was so easy to make this. I used Dandelion Designs pumpkin face stamp from last year for the face. It fits perfect. The cute little pumpkin image is from CC Designs called "pumpkin". The black embossed background is a Tim Holtz embossing folder and the grass is cut from the Eclips machine using the Edges cartridge.
Here's the inside of the card where I used the punched out pumpkin and stamped the face on it. The stamped word is also from Dandelion Designs.
This is the punch I used and the stamp.
